Cantulus

Cantulus are a bovine creature that are used as a beast of burden within Kalicose. With thier padded 3 toe feet they can get great traction on flat surfaces. The Cantulus have an armored plate on the front of their skull to both defend their brain and be used as a ram. They typically use this to knock over small tree or large plants rich in nutrients. It also second as a shovel when using the front bill.   Sporting a decent amount of stamina and able to reach a top speed of 30 mph the Cantulus at a full charge can be a serous threat. While typically passive creatures, they have been known to be very territorial of their young. It should also be noted that females are both twice as large as male Cantulus and don a much darker color hide.
