Common is the generic name given to the universal language of Empirica Sin. Once, long ago, it was a specific language unto itself, however with the arrival of the Aedvectis, most of whom only ever learned Common, it began to mutate. In its current form it incorporates many terms and words from the Otherworld either directly or in altered forms.
