Svarosmith (SVAR-OH-SMITH)

The Svarosmiths are the league of trained gemcrafters that are allowed to work on Arcanum Crystals in order to fashion a predetermined spell set within them.  They get their name from an ancient Lasskyr word for "spirit" or "haunted".  A Svarosmith typically begins their training as an apprentice to a gemcrafter.  After displaying exceptional gifts in ability and creative skill they are selected to transfer to the Arcanum Guild and begin a path of directed study in crafting precious metals, masonry, wood working, and several other disciplines.  They are then allowed to turn raw Arcanum into finished objects imbued with predetermined spell effects that require less (or no) effort to engage.
