Vi Yon-Cendar

Climate: Temperate, densely vegetated. Barely in or outside the forest. It is situated between three large lakes (Om-Dyllyg to the east, Om-Fuor south east, and Om-Cendar, the largest, to the west), and is located about two miles north of a series of tar pits.   History: Vi Yon-Cendar is the Yhivi name for a site the Lizardfolk called Trumbo. The Lizard folk had never built a permanent settlement at Trumbo but revered the area as sacred. Yhivi peoples established a trading post here 15ish years ago, after defeating the combined forces of the forests and Ishi in The Gun War, and quickly grew prosperous as a gateway to Yhivan goods and a drop off for vassal tribute. Prosperous for some, at least. While the Yhivan culture of patronage is not non-existent in Vi Yon-Cendar, the city's distance from the capital, as well as the close eyes kept on the tribute ledgers, means there is very reputational benefit for patricians to engage in customary corruption and significant legal risks. Consequentially, Vi Yon-Cendar is an exceptionally stratified town, even by Yhivan standards.
