Vaas Kiln

Purpose / Function

As Lizardmen are naturally from tropical regions, they need conditions similar to their homeland to smoothly shed their annual shedding. Young Lizardmen especially require this as it is not uncommon for multiple shedding in a single year.

Entries

There is usually only 1 entry/exit usually in the form of a thick hide cover (but some clans use a wooden door) often covered in sacred runes and charms

Sensory & Appearance

A pungent musk wafts from inside as the hot humid air assaults the senses. The darkness was tangible as my host closed the hide door flap behind us, the only light a low glow from the centralized heat pit. Low tubs of warm perfumed water formed a horseshoe around the peat moss covered pile in the center. In and around the tubs scaled bodies strewn about seemingly without reason, writhed and churned. If not for my extensive self reassurances I would've died from fear of entering a pit viper brooding pit.

My host guided me to an earthen bench and began to show me the steps to begin the molt. As we undressed and my eyes adjusted I was able to witness my groundbreaking discovery...
