Beckshard Mountains
Rising just about 12 miles North of the VIllage of Whiterest are the Breckshard Mountains. They serve as a reference to the Northern end of the known lands, and beyond is mostly unexplored wilderness. The Mountains have a couple of dangerous passes into the northern wilds, and two cave networks, the Bekshard Chasm and the Iron Grotto. Crawlers have attempted to explore, but most have never returned.
Orcs call these Mountain ranges their Home and are quite hostile to intruders. Many believe them to be Straggler or upstart tribes and remnants from the last war.
