What is a freeholder?
They are the people who escaped the fall of Reca but have never forgotten the nobles or peoples that ignored the threat and let the country fall. Structure
The freehold is ruled by a council of clans which is not so much as an imitation of the Citadel as an homage the family are each at war and allying with each other always teaming up against the one that is perceived as growing too strong in comparison with the others.
