The Martyrs of Salam
The brother sect of the Order of the Virgin, they are viewed more harshly than their sister sect due to their jobs within the organization. Put simply they are bounty hunters, warriors, and spies. Their job is to protect those who need to be protected and those who practice their faith. Their job is to hunt and slay Witches and the Enlighted.
They are usually seen wielding weapons of fire. Flares and sword-spewing fire, their armour blackened and coated in ash and blood. The people who have gotten close to these foot soldiers have said that the air smells of brimstone.

Composition
Equipment
Their armour is made of a mix of kevlar fabric and plates. The armour covers the whole body causing people to think they never truly stay down. They wear gas masks leading to tanks on their belts. Their goggles glow red from their data overlay. Their helms contain com units and heads-up deplay.
Weaponry
Often seen wielding The Inferno Igniter Rifle is larger than your standard projectile-based rifle. It is the primary weapon used by the martyrs.
They also use pistols with flame rounds. The pistols are semi-standardized with personally chosen optics.
They also have fire swords and knives. The Hilts contain a super heating element allowing for a dozen or so slashes before needing the batteries to be changed.
Vehicles
They utilize a wide variety of vehicles but they prefer men on the grounds. They often use Four-wheeled all-terrain vehicles. As well as slow fliers allowing them to drop troops off at the front lines. When on patrol they often use 3 to 5 Heavily armored all-terrain vehicles.
Tactics
A common tactic this unit used scorched earth. They simply do not care who gets caught in the crossfire. However, they know hearts and minds are important so they will only truly use this tactic when in a large-scale battle. A squad of 6 men is a dangerous sight to behold having been known to push and clear out entire witch encampments of 100 strong.

Recruitment
Most of the recruitment for the Martyrs is collected by the faithful men and women from the Order of the Virgin. How ever a few soldiers might be paid to join to help train their soldiers if someone proves themselves on the battlefield.
