Ekias

Ekias, the God of Emotions, is a living storm of feelings—unpredictable, overwhelming, and pure. His presence alone can stir love to bloom, hate to fester, joy to overflow, or sorrow to drown a soul. Emotions are his domain, but he wields them with the carelessness of youth, acting on impulse rather than understanding. He does not yet grasp the weight of the power he holds.

He hides his face behind a mask, its exaggerated features shifting to reflect his moods. When joy consumes him, the mask grins with an impossible, almost unsettling smile. In sorrow, its expression twists into despair. Anger brings a savage snarl. The mask is both a tool and a shield—a way to amplify his power while concealing the young god’s vulnerability. Why he chooses to hide behind it, not even he fully knows.

Ekias is neither cruel nor kind; he is simply raw and unrefined. He acts without malice but also without foresight, swept up in the emotions he embodies. His power is overwhelming, yet his understanding is limited. I, Temkron, see the threads of time bending around him, warped by the intensity of his influence. His presence ripples through history, shifting lives and destinies in ways he himself cannot see.

Despite his naive recklessness, Ekias seeks guidance. Muerios and I have both felt his questions, his longing to understand the emotions he stirs. Muerios offers him wisdom drawn from her long connection to souls, showing him how deeply emotions define existence. She sees the beauty in his chaos, the potential in his youthful heart, and she tempers his storms with her quiet wisdom.

As for me, I have tried to teach Ekias patience, though such a lesson is not easily learned by one so young. I remind him that emotions, like time, cannot always be rushed. Some feelings need to simmer before they take shape, and others need to be let go, lest they overwhelm entirely. Yet even I can only do so much; Ekias is a force unto himself, a reflection of all that cannot be tamed.

He is a reminder to gods and mortals alike of the power emotions hold—their capacity to build, to destroy, to heal, and to hurt. Though he lacks control, there is purity in his nature, a rawness that both inspires and unsettles. Perhaps, with time and the guidance of those around him, Ekias will learn to temper his storms and wield his power with care.

For now, he remains as he is: a whirlwind of feeling, a god driven by impulse and passion. His mask may hide his face, but it cannot conceal the truth of his being—he is the embodiment of what it means to feel, unrestrained and alive.
