‘Cosim’ Spiral Galaxy//Listed Number 238.4334.192

Within the deep void of space lies a galaxy of anarchy. Its center, “The Well”, is rendered unstable due to the utterly massive cosmic storm known as the ‘Darktide’ - Spanning thousands of systems and millions of worlds. "The Well" is a source of unfathomable power, constantly folding in on itself and ripping apart even the mightiest of celestial beings, before shooting said matter right back out into the void. Somehow, the galaxy has maintained a stable orbit over millions of years, despite The Well's overwhelming gravitational pull. However, this anomalous power has attracted the galactic equivalent of a hurricane, labeled by many names.
This hurricane is most commonly referred to as the Darktide, and as stated within the introductory sentence, is a cosmic storm that holds grim implications.   To the far north of the Well, on the Cursed Spiral of Kost, lies a doomed race known as the Al'uva - desperately trying to crawl away from the Darktide that encroaches on their home systems.
Despite the Al'uva's efforts, even the most kindest of hearts cannot escape the prospect of opportunity, and must face a faction of Warbands and Pirates known as the Atheri and their unending hordes.

To the west of The Well dwells the Eleri Dynasty, an expansive and tyrannical empire that seeks to conquer The Well and please the Darktide. Its Emperor has made an enemy of almost every faction within Cosim, and thus seeks to hide himself within the most defended of fortresses - Acrum.   Finally, to the far south and on the 2nd spiral lies both the Thonoid Collective and the Federation of Zamor - both are in an unstable alliance, forced together by the terrible circumstances that is the orbiting Darktide.
Almost none can compare to the sheer horrors both the Thonoids and Zamor face on a daily basis, constantly preventing splinter-storms from fully corrupting planets and plunging the southern spiral of Cadin into almost literal Hell. The one thing that prevents the full force of the Darktide from directly latching onto Cadin? The Thonoid's creator, and ruler, dubbed the God Engine by Cult Dyionsys.
The God Engine, a being of magificent power - able to redirect a portion of The Well's sheer power as a galactic barrier, preventing the entire storm from making any large scale assaults on Cadin. (Forcing the Darktide to move in from the northern part of the galaxy, attacking the Spiral of Kost.)
  And within this galaxy, turmoil never ceases against the struggle of war. Conflict never rests its head for but even a moment, only the eternal lies of the Cosmic Hurricane could give even a resemblance to such a luxury. Mortals suffer in the Affairs of Passing Gods, and the endless carnage the Well promises.
