A wood elf scout whose lineage reaches back to Myth Drannor’s golden age, when his family served as border wardens for the great city. When the city fell, his kin refused the Retreat to Evermeet, wandering west into Cormyr and eventually finding themselves among the Eldreth Veluuthra in the Hullack Forest. Erdan grew up on the forest’s edge, steeped in their rhetoric yet never fully swayed by their hatred of humankind. His skill as a scout earned him a place in their ranks, but it was the Harpers who saw the truth: Erdan could pass among the Veluuthra without suspicion, quietly feeding them news of their movements.
On his recent patrols he has witnessed signs of a deeper corruption; beasts wasting away from a strange and dreadful disease. Troubled, he has travelled to Eveningstar, seeking allies and answers to the mystery that is poisoning the wild.
