Endarthar is a fiery-tempered but brilliant mage who once served the crown of Tethyr, using his formidable magic to strike down pirate raiders and rebellious nobles. However, when civil war engulfed the country, he fled and eventually settled in Wildwoods, a secluded woodland mansion near Waymoot. His possession of the estate was earned through a sorcerous duel in which he defeated the former owner, Orthaerus Manycloaks.

Creating and training a menagerie of servitor creatures, including griffons, umber hulks, and intelligent oozes and jellies.
Waging a private war against the ghost of Orthaerus, who still haunts the mansion, casting spells and ambushing Endarthar in a bid for revenge.
Personality
Endarthar is fiercely independent and values his privacy above all else. Though brilliant and resourceful, his fiery temper often leads to rash decisions. He distrusts visitors, as Orthaerus’ ghost has a habit of defending any guest who turns hostile.
