Lestad Hazelstar
Endryan Author
He was born in 1706 in a fine family. His dad was Drake Hannikar one of the greatest tailors of Faalthith and his mother, Klira Neziros worked as a blacksmith for Ilmunil’s armies making one of the strongest armors Corfix has seen. It is known and even commissioned by Khar to be made for the humans.
From a very young age he was more attracted towards his father’s work, but even then he felt out of place. The only real moment he was at home was when his mother told stories about the great past of the dragons, he wanted people to feel the same way he did when those were told. So he started focusing on an artistic background, specifically the theatre arts. His family was disappointed by the decision trying to make him follow a different path. Anything, but arts. When they failed he was given a choice; Either choose a different career or be kicked from the family.
With no coin or a place of his own he had to oblige and start working in his dad’s workshop. In secret, Lestad still performed in the streets for strangers and wrote plays of his own using a mask and painting his scales so he wouldn’t be identified. But secrets are not meant to last. When he was 23 his dad caught him with all his scales painted and enraged he kicked Lestad out of the house not bothering to give him a single gold coin.
On the streets he continued his work as best as he could. Faalthith didn’t like to show any poverty in their territory so he was arrested, pushed and pulled between care houses. 5 years of this struggle was what he had to go through before finally finding his way out of the country just in time to avoid his death sentence for being homosexual.
He fled straight to Endrya, where he found shelter. He continued his work writing his plays. After getting a few opportunities with the local arena theatre he started gaining popularity. His plays were published making his fame grow.
