A sailor's dirge of a popular ghost ship and her captain
Verse 1
Bloody Bart, so known was he, So cruel and cold, and greed so vast, A true terror, the scourge of the seas, No bullet struck he, no harm befell his mast.Verse 2
Beloved was he, the favorite of the pirate queen, He sank our ships, he drowned our hopes, Sent them all, far down, to the deep, And burned our homes, then hung our souls upon her ropes.Verse 3
Soon his time had come at last, And down he went, to locker deep, Yet she loved him so and they promised avast, And now he sails, forever, so the two might meet.Verse 4
Through seas most bleak the Reaper now goes, Atop squall, through the storm, with hull of bone, An eternal promise, an eternal foe, Together with his bride, forever home.-A dirge/shanty sung by sailors, pirates, and travelers on the seas of the infamous ghost ship "The Riptide Reaper" and its captain.
