Nim'Wen

She is a high elf scholar who was recently given the opportunity to travel to Ank'Harel to further her studies in death and decay. She studies under one of the most influencial clerics known in Yios, and she is really excited for this opportunity. Even if it means that she was just being kicked out of the Orkish society of Yios for being elvish and bringing radical ideas into the clergy. One may have also thought it odd that in all her years of learning under the guidance and direction of the clergy she had no divine magic or any magic to speak of. When she expressed the interest to further her studies in Ank'Harel, the clergy leadership was all too eager to send her there.

Nim'Wen found Iona's books on her travels to Ank'Harel and quickly became obsessed. Iona Fletcher (her maiden name--not the hogwash married name she had on most of her older books) was one of the best writers of her time. And she often wrote romances between gorgenei and humans. But it was her academic works under her maiden name that peaked Nim'Wen's interest. Upon assimilation into Ank'Harel she did her best to gather all the books she could Iona wrote of death. Her end goal: to ask Iona how to twist the bands of fate: to die in one area and have your body appear and be buried in another.

For it was her, Twisted Fate that had killed Iona all those years ago, and had been hunting for her remains ever since. As they had been experimenting together. But Iona had cracked the code, refusing to share. Engraged, Twisted Fate had let the guise of Nim'Wen drop and had foolishly killed the only one who had the answers. In the years that folowed, it took her countless hours and rift hops to secure a scroll to amend her mistake and to hopefully grant her the answers that she seeked.

Think of her like a space cowboy, with no rules she follows but her own, pursueing her own goals, and only helping if it furthers what she intends. She knew of many rifts and places to go to hide to to lead those you hated when needed.
