Session 49: The Forgotten Isles

The Wandering Scholars, arrive back to their beach camp, and find Ospreay and Robyn warming themselves by the fire. Guen and Flick see a boat with 4 occupants arrive to shore and moor their boat. Flick goes to talk with them, and Robyn notes while the halfling with the other 3 veiled figures talks with Flick, that this is a person who is used to captivity. The halfling wears a mourning veil over their lower half of their face, which they reveal was ripped away some time ago. The thee veiled faceless pay no mind to Flick who offers to 'watch their boat' and they head off into the woods, with a halfling sized coffin, which the halfling confirms has body parts in it.   The group takes a long rest, and then steals the ship and sails out to the sea, to find these Isles that were mapped up here. In sailing, they sail through a mist, and pass into the waters of Nibiru, making land on an isle. On disembarking, they find a battlefield, littered with arcanic scars, and no body parts, the blood having been washed away from the sea.   The group tree strides into the middle of the island where a twisted hexagonal temple-like structure sits. They find a few folks still alive, barely, and help them, leaving them outside. Flick also leaves Guen's mom with Parsley, these two groups are seperate. Upon entering, the interior is already larger than the outside, and they are faced with 3 rooms, one plays music, one has lights in the carved words, and they use the phrases and words on carvings to access the 2nd room.   In the second room, there is a fight that is ongoing, between the Fate-weaver Sentinels and the Faceless, one of whom is the Faceless King, who Flick is thinking is Raven. They are engaged in combat, and the Faceless Arcane Archer, and Faceless Sorcerer have been felled.   We will come back to the group in the midst of this battle.
