Session 38: Goblins See As Goblins Do Report

The group settled in for a long rest, and Flick got notified that Riley found the staff. Laying down to rest, A person appears in the night, and is attempting to stab Guen. Guen gets stabbed, and flees after being turned invisible. The others finish off the person who attacked Guen, finding like 9gp, and a note in Elvish that says: Kill the girl.   Guen runs until she finds a shop window that is open and takes refuge in the back of a storeroom in a shop that deals in medicinal plants, potions and unknowlingly makes a deal, and is mistaken as a messenger or servant of some deity.   Dyfse is the owner of Myner's Exchange, and is who Guen meets. They offer a reward for helping them recover some goods that were stolen--seeming to have been taken with intent to perform some bit ritual. (1000gp per item recovered)   The group meets up talks with Dyfse, and then Guen stays while the others return to The Nook--the inn. They see that the bar next door and connected was ransacked. Velkin offers a token of passage should they help him (offer was spoken to Flick).   They go investigate the Shrine of Zehir, and find it desicrated, the name? word? something spelled AARX painted on the back wall, and a crown of the Faceless on the ground--but its a different symbol of power/control in this Circlet of Influence. They encounter 2 Haunted and 1 Terror. They are in the midst of a short rest (?) in Flick's Lamp.
