Concordia

Concordia is a mystical realm that is home to a myriad mix of races. The people of Concordia can be divided between mortal and Fae with the two groups sharing a history almost as old as the world. Mortalkind has worshipped members of the Fae since ancient times, leading to deification and entanglement of relationships. The Fae for their part generally have little regard for mortal societies but many love the people of the world and will in turn respond to their earnest dreams and desires.

Three main regions make up Concordia: Mimeo, Gloriana, and Aeterna. Mimeo is the largest of these regions and is home to the twin continents of Doppel and Gänger. Legends say that all life came from these continents. The second region of Gloriana is home to a continent of the same name; a smaller landmass compared to either of the twins, but home to a mighty naval empire. The third region, Aeterna, is an archipelago that is home to a high population of different Fae and small human communities that live in balance with nature.

Over the millennia, the various regions have evolved distinct relations between mortal and Fae. The people of the twin continents are deeply religious and hold a pantheon of Fae as their gods. These immortals are not as deeply worshiped outside of Mimeo and have intertwined themselves to the roots of Mimeo's cultures and societies. The people of Gloriana venerate Avemis, a great firebird as their chief god and hold other Fae of the continent in high regard. Aeterna's mortals do not worship the Fae of their region, forming instead mutually beneficial relationships with some and allowing one another to have their space with respect and admiration for nature.
