Master
This is a title that is handed to those that are the present leader of a guild. Masters are often the founders of their guilds, or were the prior guild master's right hand person. Every guild has at least one master, but some have multiple, depending on how large the guild is.
Qualifications
Masters of guilds typically must be incredibly experienced in their field. At least fifteen years in the guild are required.
Requirements
Fifteen years of experience in your guild, and good word from many other members of your guild are a must. You will get nowhere as a guild leader if your guild does not trust you.
Duties
Guild Masters are the people in charge of regulating the guild they run. They keep track of all the members of it, and make sure that people are getting the correct training, and care if they are hurt on the job in any way. They ensure everything within the guild is running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Guild masters hire people into the guild, they make sure the guild has the resources required to keep functioning, and make sure they still have a legal licence in cities and kingdoms where it is required.
Accoutrements & Equipment
There is no uniform for a Guild Master, but they can be denoted by the pin or crest somewhere on their clothes, which has a blacksmith's hammer and a pickaxe resting atop a shield. Some Guild masters go far as to get a shield made specifically with this pair of tools on it.
History
The creation of the title was a bit of an accident, as people were originally classed as an apprentice or a master, calling the person in charge of the guild "Master" became commonplace.
