Quacktinent

When children first begin learning about the world of Comhlaidir, tutors and scholars introduce them to geography by drawing the continent in the shape of a duck. This long-standing tradition fosters both knowledge and imagination, helping young minds engage with the land they call home.

However, this method comes with an unexpected challenge—many children become so attached to the "Quacktinent" that they refuse to accept its fictional nature. As their magical abilities develop, some even alter historical records, convinced that Quacktinent is real. If, despite repeated lessons, a student remains stubbornly devoted to the duck-shaped landmass, a drastic measure is taken: the word duck—along with all related concepts—is erased from their mind entirely.
