Eight great houses rule the nation of Chuck’ruani which is problematic when during disagreements as it sometimes ends up an even vote. At this point the lesser houses are called in to pass an opinion. If for some reason at this stage it is still a stalemate then a commune is held with the behemoths and their wisdom is requested. To date there has never been an issue where the Behemoths do not bring about a majority one side or another.   These Houses are different to the Houses of the Kenku, which act in the same way as the Shifter tribes detailed later. These are the proper ruling Houses of Chuk’ruani and those who determine what is to occur for the people. They decide which actions will be taken next and how the future of their combined country will be shaped.   Being a part of the Ruling Houses, also known as The Chicuei , is an honour that is not undertaken lightly. The weight of your decisions is known to cause the unprepared to fall to their knees in distress over time. It takes a great inner strength to stand by every decision made knowing it is for the greater good, the betterment of your people’s future, even if would make life hard for the time being.   These Houses are not linked to their Behemoth or the ideals of individual tribes or kenku houses. These Houses are seats of power full of advisors to assist think over issues. The Chicuei have a vague idea of sectioning land to rule over but this land fluctuates every year with moving tribesfolk and is, as such, barely put to paper
