The Ivory Gull

The most renowned drinking establishment of Dassern, the Ivory Gull has been around for most of the town's history. It was opened by the current owner's mother, but once her child could take over, she quickly left to other ventures. Still, with her Tian roots, she set the bar for a unique experience in Iobaria: it melds flavours and entertainments from the less spoken-for races and ethnicities, something the dragon overlords of the The Council of Timeless Dawn have enjoyed thus for.   It's a small, welcoming dining hall on two floors. A large round counter welcomes everyone who enters the room and enables the staff to view the whole room. The back of the room is always lively with various forms of entertainment, although there is no dedicated stage. Above the entrance, there is a mezzanine overlooking the rest of the room, generally reserved for groups, it's also quieter.   An annex to the east welcomes the patrons who would need a night's rest, although the accommodations are not as great as other places, it does what it needs to do at a decent price.
