Storith Wood

The Storith Wood was once quite the sight to behold: much bigger and livelier than it is today. But century upon century of human activity left it but a shadow of its former self. Because of unrelated reasons, nearby human settlements have also fallen into disarray, which means that, in essence, nature has taken over this one overused forest.   Mostly comprised of coniferous wood, as most northern forest are, which was always popular in the region. In the last decades, however, a strange breed of blue-leaved acacia tree has become more and more common throughout the forest.   Unlike Finadar Forest to the south, Storith is not inhabited by scattered settlements of humans. Instead, the forest is closely guarded by various circles of druids of varying degrees of fanaticism and various Fey such as kelleds and satyrs. While it stands close to a major trade line, Storith Wood remains a relatively isolated forest and in Orlov to the north, rumours are aplenty.   At the moment, it is very unlikely that one can enter the forest and navigate it without knowledge from its current inhabitants and intruders will be chased without questions. Most people in Iobaria choose to steer clear of it as nothing currently indicates the inhabitants pose any danger: they are simply looking out for their home. However, if Orlov is to return to its former glory as one Prince Tzakiv Korya
