Sigemaer

Master Sigemaer (a.k.a. Morn)

Kellid in name only, born Morn, Sigemaer knows, in fact, little of his people. His clan travelled to Iobaria, crossing war-torn lands, but as the attacks grew more frequent and dangerous, the clan scattered across the lands. He knew, in fact, only very little of his cultural heritage, something most Kellids have used throughout his life to discount his retelling of events.   One of the most prolific and renowned skald of Iobaria, Sigemaer was always shrouded in mystery. It is a well-known fact that he acted as a Steward to the even-more-renowned silver dragon Cithaythren, sharing tales of their battles and deeds.   While most assumed he died at the same time as his long-time friend, to save the remaining few dragons, this whole period of history remains clouded in mystery. While this means that Sigemaer would have met his demise in 4519, almost 200 years later, some are adamant in their belief that he still lives, protected by the druids of Okormirr.   He penned many poems and historic records, most of which are kept safely in libraries in Antoll or in nobles' houses. Some have even made their way to common circulation in the southern part of the continent.

Mental characteristics

Education

Much like Cithaythren, Sigemaer was a well-traveled scholar. He put a lot more faith in academics and knowledge than most Kellids did. He was seemingly well-versed in history, military tactics, arcana and occultism, as well as in the movements of the stars and planes of existence.   Unsurprisingly for someone considered much of a bard, he dabbled in a lot of subject, although, more surprisingly, some would have called him an expert or master on several matters.

Employment

He spent most of his side acting as Cithaythren's steward, or so his title said, but he was both a friend and a confidant to the dragon. Other than that, he was much of an adventurer and writer, having penned many poems and epics.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

As a devout of Erastil, Sigemaer was focused on building communities and helping others not be uprooted as he was. His work with the dragons at the time may have seen controversial but he did all he did for the betterment of Iobaria's people. While he enjoyed the fame he got out of it, most would think that he was after a "job well done."

Virtues & Personality perks

Well-liked and kind, Sigemaer would offer most of himself, often too much, to the point of being stretched thin.

Vices & Personality flaws

Very smart, but super gullible. He also was an incredible procrastinator, tending to do his better work in the last few hours before a deadline. He kept his friends and family grounded, but they definitely had to watch out for him.

Social

Family Ties

He was married to a strnage woman called Eidolyn who disappeared few years before he did, leaving him the care of two young children Cithry and Nym. Most of his books are addressing his children.

Religious Views

He was a known devout of Erastil: a religion shared by several humans in Iobaria, although, as most religions, not exactly acted upon.
