Jyrane

Mithral Mistress (a.k.a. The Quiet)

Hailing from the distant Mwangi region, Jyrane started her life as a pet project for an eccentric wizard. Mithral dragons are a cross between a natural creature and a construct, which makes many humans and dragons see them as monstrosities. She fled her life in the south towards the north, hoping to find life away from mage schools. What she found instead is an interesting alliance between the ancient rulers and the newborns, which caught her interest and she decided to stay in Iobaria .

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Jaryane does not have scales like most dragons: hers are made of metal and reminiscent of an actual armor. While she's light and agile, she looks like an armored predator, most humans, and many dragons, finding it scary to even address her. She has not grown in many years, but does not have the same powers as dragons of her own age.

Personal history

Born in the far reaches of Mwangi, Jyrane is in fact the product of a mad wizard's genius. This makes her wary of mortal in general, particularly elves. She's long since moved, traveling the world, stopping in different countries for a few years at a time. She reached Iobaria 30some years ago. Her fascination lies mostly with the cyclops ruins, but she's found that while humans were scared of them, dragons tend to be very protective of them, something she found quite particular. She approached Nymryrriel herself because she was told that she was the one to see about the ruins. She agreed to lend a hand to her cause in exchange for being about to study the ruins.

Education

She lived in a mage college for many a years, but does not use this knowledge on a daily basis

Failures & Embarrassments

While she has no control over it, she is very much ashamed of her origins and of what she is: barely a real dragon, barely a real flesh creature even

Mental Trauma

Her hatred for elves, mages, and constructs (and herself, to an extent) has driven most of her ambitions throughout her very long life

Intellectual Characteristics

Magical, social, mathematical: She sees and understands patterns

Morality & Philosophy

She believes in perfect balance, which may compare to a construct, but she things all things should be, and will be balanced, in the end

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

She wants to unlock the secrets of the cyclops and the ruins scattered across the country, and how these come into play (or not) with the many Drakeplague

Speech

When she gets stressed she mumbles in several different unintelligible languages
