Session 7 Report

The session started in Tintagel, last session Malachaia and Kasnan found out more about the meteorites and their history, while Elovar won a couple battles in the Tintagel arena. In the beginning of the session the party woke up in one of the inns of Tintagel and got ready for breakfast. Whilst in the main hall of the inn they encoutered a vigorous dragonborn paladin named Noxirius Roghar, also known as Roghar. After Roghar introduced himself, and faced little skepticism within the party, Roghar treated them to some golden ale and was allowed to join the party.

Journey to Kahzret

The party decided they wanted to start searching for some of these meteorites and proceeded towards the harbour to find Morgan. Once they arrived at the harbour they noticed his ship was gone and inquired to his whereabouts at the clerk's desk of Wade's Safe Shipping. The clerk told them Morgan had left for Gobekli Tepe and wasn't about to return shortly. The party convinced the clerk to give them a free boatride to Kahzret mountains and went on their way. Landing at the base of the mountains, around the same height where they found the previous cave, they headed further into the mountains. Within minutes Malachaia heared some rumbling coming from one of the stone deposits at the base of the mountains and moved closer to inspect the noise. At first he couldn't figure out what was making the noise, but when he turned his back towards the stone deposit an Earth Elemental appeared and tried to ambush him, but to no succes, Malachaia quickly notices what was happening and dodged a rock that was hurled right at him. With that the battle commenced and the party bravely fought against the Earth Elemental. The Elemental burrowd underneath the river to the other side of the battlefield, with Billy chasing him while Kasnan sat on his back. The rest of the party tried to cross the bridge to chase after the Elemental, but the Elemental blocked the other side of the bridge. Billy burried his paws deep in the Elementals leg, losing Kasnan along the way, and Elovar managed to anchor his rope to the Elementals other leg and started running around him. He pulled the rope tight and Roghar pushed against the Elemental with all his might, making him tumble over backwards. Kasnan was standing behind the Elemental and failed to evade his tumble, being stranded underneath his massive weight. The party managed to chop off 1 arm and 1 leg, but the Elemental hurled another rock, knocking Roghar unconscious. Kasnan used the wiggle space this gave him to blast him with another Eldritch Blast, chiping a piece of his shoulder off, but still didn't succeed to crawl out from under him. Meanwhile Malgath patched up Roghar so he was able to join the battle again. After a few more blows the party managed to defeat the massive Elemental once and for all. Elovar started looking for loot again, finding a few chipped gems across the Elementals body. While the party was realizing what just occurred a sturdy dwarf rose from the spot the Elemantal first ambushed them. He thanked the party for his release and explained that he was trapped underneath the Elemantal for 2 days. He told the party his name was Doldur Wildmantle and he agreed to help them find location's to search for the meteorite pieces.

Into the Kharzed mountains

The party ventured further into the mountain's, guided by Doldur, and after a few miles they found another cave system. Doldur explained that in some of these caves gemstones and even meteorite pieces can be found. He also told the party that in case of hostile creatures or other encounters he wouldn't be able to help the party much, as he is an miner and not a fighter. The party ventured into the cave and saw a fire lit in the first room if the cave. They went ahead to see what was in the room and encoutered 3 Notics. After a short battle they managed to defeat the Notics, splashing the eyes out of 2 of them, the 3rd one remaining intact. The party searched for loot again and Elovar and Kasnan's imp started exploring more of the cave system, but didn't encouter anything within the tunnels ahead. Elovar headed back to the party and clarified that he hadn't found anything yet. With this the session ended.
