Despite his fearsome reputation, Burhan has a soft spot for those who share his passion for combat and strives to teach them what he knows. He's not one to seek attention or praise, but rather finds satisfaction in the knowledge that he has honored his family name and continued the legacy of the great arena champions who came before him.

Burhan is famously known throughout Clovis for completing the legendary tier in the Tintagel Arena. Being the standing champion for more than 20 years now no one has ever beaten him in single handed combat.

Action Surge (1/Short or Long Rest).Burhan can push himself beyond his normal limits for a moment. On his turn, he can take one additional action. He can use it only once on the same turn.   Indomitable (2/Day). Burhan can reroll a saving throw that he fails. If he does so, he must use the new roll.   Stealth Disadvantage. Burhan has disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks while wearing his Chain mail armor.

Actions

Multiattack. Burhan makes three attacks with his Spear and one Shield Bash, or three attacks with his Trident.   Spear. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft or range 20/60 ft, one target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) piercing damage, or 9 (1d8 + 5) piercing damage if used with two hands to make a melee attack.   Shield Bash.Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it must succeed on a DC 16 Strength or be knocked prone provoking opportunity attacks from other adjacent creatures including Burhan, who can use his reaction to attack the creature with advantage and a +7 damage bonus.   Trident. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft or range 20/60 ft, one target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) piercing damage, or 9 (1d8 + 5) piercing damage if used with two hands to make a melee attack.   Shield Wall. Burhan protects himself from all incoming damage, reducing it by half (rounded down) until the beginning of his next turn. While in this stance, he can also make one Shield Bash attack. Burhan must be wielding a shield to use this action.

Reactions

Second Wind (1/Short or Long Rest).Burhan has a limited well of stamina that he can draw on to protect himself from harm. He regains 19 (1d10 + 14) hit points.   Intercept. When a creature adjacent to Burhan makes an attack that requires a roll to hit, Burhan can intercept the attack with his Spear. Free makes an attack roll with his Spear. If the roll is higher than the attack roll of the creature, the attack of the creature misses.

Legendary Actions

Burham can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Burham regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.
  Reposition. Free moves 10 feet without provoking Opportunity Attacks.   Extra Attack. Free makes one attack with one of his weapons.
