The Death of Auralis

Life, Death

51/46/04

Emperess-Elect Auralis dies under suspicious circumstances. Fingers point in many directions, both internal and external.

Auralis dies suddenly in her sleep, seemingly in good health the night before. Panic immediately grips the Empire as eyes turn to The Uluk Empire and irritated nobles within Leiden as the perpetrator behind the assumed act.   Despite later medical testimony stating that she died naturally, her youngest son, Vahalian, would secure the votes required through promises of payment and grand statements of fear, jingoism, and doom.
