Mathis Amiare (a.k.a. Old Mantis)
A very skinny man, who looks very fragile and his not very brave. His sharp tongue hides a caring heart. He loves to wander outside cataloguing any plant or animal he comes across in one of his little notebooks.
He is currently the tutor to Rowain, Maigen, Baelon, Ashelin Daliesyn. He is very methodical and does not like to do things out of order. Often called Old Mantis behind his back because of his habit of holding his hands together before his chest.
