The Man who Barters with Blood of War

Faradoon Abdul-Salam

The Man Who Barters with the blood of war. Faradoon Abdul-Salam is the son of Yusuf Abdul-Salam, a spellcaster and con artist. Faradoon occupies a merchant stand in the city's northern part, resembling the merchant corridors of 10th-century marketplaces. The road between merchant shops is dusty. Some merchants sell livestock, while others sell pottery, sculptures, clothing, and more. The street is loud, with merchants calling to those who walk past – hoping to snatch their attention.   Faradoon was given the blood of war as part of a secret organization, Tou-solo, which protects the secrets of the elixir. Some spells connect with the elixir, which will increase one’s resistance to injury. It was once used to shield human souls from the death angel. It can also be used along with spells to reveal hidden objects. The words and inflections of the spell are special secrets of Tou-Solou.   Aided by a djinni from the hinn race, Faradoon often gets the heads-up on his visitors’ intent. It is challenging to fool his djinni. Faradoon will not cooperate with anyone who tries to get him to reveal the secrets of his brotherhood. However, Faradoon will assist someone, accompany the requestor on a brief mission, and use the elixir to reveal or protect the requestor if the price is right. Faradoon will trade his secret for two things: The elixir Omseil or useable information for his quest to enter the Casual world and win a Fiwi flower from the Hill of Minshiel, the angel.

However, if Faradoon can barter for peddles of a Fiwi flower, he could call in a favor from another djinni who would make an elixir to increase his intuitive abilities and subsequent wealth building in the physical world.
