Gnomes on Cisum are exceptional dancers, and bards most of all. A Gnome dance routine has been known to cause a variety of effects on those around them. Some of these can be quite potent when backed by a bard's magic.
Through interpretive dance, you can inflict a random effect on those around you. Creatures must have line of sight on you to be affected. Affected creatures in range make a Charisma saving throw against your spell DC. Affected allies roll with advantage, and may spend their reaction to add their Performance bonus to the roll. You may spend a Bardic Inspiration to add your Performance bonus to the spell DC for your enemies. Roll 1d6 and use the table below to determine the effect for a failed save.Roll | Effect | Details |
---|---|---|
1 | Blinded | A blinded creature can't see and automatically fails any ability check that requires sight. Attack rolls against a blind creature have advantage, and a blind creature's attack rolls have disadvantage. |
2 | Charmed | A charmed creature can't attack the charmer or target the charmer with harmful abilities or magical effects. The charmer has advantage on any ability check to interact socially with the charmed creature. |
3 | Frightened | A frightened creature has disadvantage on ability checks and attack rolls while the source of its fear is within line of sight. The frightened creature can't willingly move closer to teh source of its fear. |
4 | Petrified | A petrified creature is transformed, along with any nonmagical object it is wearing or carrying, into a solid inanimate substance (usually stone). The petrified creature's weight increases by a factor of ten, and it ceases aging. A petrified creature is incapacitated (can't take actions or reactions), can'ts move or speak, and is unaware of its surroundings. Attack rolls against a petrified creature have advantage, but the petrified creature has resistance to all damage. The petrified creature automatically fails Strength and Dexterity saving throws. A petrified creature is immune to poison and disease, although a poison or disease alread in its system is suspended, not neutralized. |
5 | Stunned | A stunned creature is incapacitated (can't take actions or reactions), can't move, and can only speak falteringly. A stunned creature automatically fails Strength and Dexterity saving throws. Attack rolls against a stunned creature have advantage. |
6 | Unconscious | An unconscious creature is incapacitated (can't take actions or reactions), can'ts move or speak, and is unaware of its surroundings. The unconscious creature drops whatever it's holding and falls prone. The unconscious creature automatically fails Strength and Dexterity saving throws. Attack rolls against an unconscious creature have advantage. Any attack that hits an unconscious creature is a critical hit if the attacker is within 5 feet of the unconscious creature. |
