Temple of Vis
Structure
While Saint Maud has served as the de jure leader of the Temple of Vis for as long as its founding, recently, their the day-to-day relegation within the temple has been demoted to that of a figurehead. As branches of her teachings have fanned out they have intergrated their own internal heirarchies and thus, they have elected to follow new leaders. Due to this, each individual vein of the Temple of Vis may have its own speacializations and practices apart from the Founding Chapal in Pioneer Point.
Culture
The prowess of one's Hemomancy is the primary concern of those who dawn the robes of the Visceral Temple. Those within the temple have been known to cooperate, tolerate, and even accept those outside the organization on the basis of their blood magic capability alone. That being said, within the practice, ability is everything and status within the organization is largely deterimined by the studiousness and capability of the individual. Leaders are often elected but some fall into the role due to their natural talent or wealth of specific knowledge.
Public Agenda
While the Temple of Vis has public-facing services similar to a university, they also rival the Atome Panhellenic when it comes to curative and healing magics. While still in its infancy, the organization has already garnered quite a reputation as a catch-all for notary, healing, disease curing and even combat training. Rumors have stated that the Temple of Vis have been experimenting with a blood-based method of rivivification, however have yet to meet the capabilities of Atome Panhellenic's Burdon of Divinity.
