Steelwood
Properties
Material Characteristics
Steel wood is extremely pliable and behaves as a normal wood when originally harvested. As time passes, the wood 'cures' becoming harder and more rigid without losing its shape or changing its size. This curing process also darkens the wood, gnots in the wood having paricularly steel-like coloration.
Physical & Chemical Properties
The wood itself is abnormally fire resistant and while it can burn it does not burn well. Further treatment of the wood makes exceptional building material but it is most famed for its use in weapons and arms.
