The Rainwatchers as a group is shrouded in mystery. Some say the group has existed for longer but their first recorded and confirmed sighting of Rainwatcher activities occured arround the year 204. As such, most of their inner workings and leadership are completely unknown. It is even uncertain if orders are dispersed in some way or if individual Rainwatchers act as free agents. Culture
The Rainwatchers are devotees of Gideon the Faceless and as such, are purveyors of stealth and subterfuge. The identities of Rainwatchers are kept hidden until death and most are given an alias upon induction into the group. Rainwatchers often live normal lives outside of their work as mercinaries and while it is not often that they work in groups it is also not unheard of. Rainwatchers are known to have little uniformarity when it comes to combat tactics, however do have a common garb. Rainwatchers often have a standard armor including baggy dark-grey clothing with lighter hues that stich flowing patterns into the clothing. Rainwatchers often hide their faces with ceremonial masks of animals, demons, deities, or other more esoteric designs,
Public Agenda
While the mystery of the group does create an air of caution for the common citizen, the Rainwatchers, while dangerous, are not considered openly malicious. The services of the rainwatchers are on the expensive side however they are considered extremely reliable. The Rainwatchers have been known to dabble in theft, sabotage, courier services, information gathering, missing persons, asset retrevial, and assasination.
