Northward
During the early expeditions into the new world of Cinder's Hope, a group of pilgrims went North to chart and discover in that direction. As they continued north they were battered by blizzards and storms the likes of which cut their numbers by half. Unable to turn back they pressed onward until, miraculously, they stumbled across an old-world cathedral jutting from the ice. This cathedral provided shelter from the harsh conditions and the pilgrims were able to make due here for years until the storms cleared and the ice melted away. Now the town is built around this cathedral in reverence and has grown into an agricultural hotspot which it continues as to this day.
