Necrosis

Necrosis is described as localized death of a part which is still attached to a iving thing. This often starts with pain and tenderness but could reusult in the blackening and full breakdown of tissues, leading to permanant damage. On top of that, Necrosis is known to spread agressively through living creatures.      Stage 1: General tenderness/itching. May see blackened veins or pale patched of skin. Localised area, can be healed with simple healing outside of combat. Once healed, it applies 1 exhaustion.   Stage 2: Scaling or peeling skin that feels warm or feverish to the touch. Redness is visable and aching is evident when moving the effected area. Spread has slightly increased. Constitution is decreased by 2 applies 1 exhaustion when healed. Can be healed by moderate medical procedures.    Stage 3: Death of living flesh begins to occor. Yellowing and blackening of skin may be visiable and muscle aches have spread. Subdermal lumps may occor near the precipitating area that are painful to the touch. At this point a full body fever is not uncommon. Decreased Constitution by 4, Strength by 2 and Charisma by 2. Applies 2 exhaustion when healed. Can be healed by advanced medicine.    Stage 4: Death of tissues is now evident, discoloration of flesh is common. Open wounds and boils begin to appear on skin, area has dramatically spread following circulation system. Severe fever and nausea are common. Permanant damage to the effected area begins. If unable to be treated amputation of the effected area may be necessary.  Decreased Constitution by 8, Strength by 4, Charisma by 4, Applies 3 exhaustion when healed. Requires Mastery level healing.    Stage 5: Necrosis has now spread further through the body. Severe discoloration evident. Flesh has weakened to the extent that bone may be exposed. Weeping wounds are common and swathes of blackend flesh cover the original area. Constitution Decreased by 10, Strength, Charisma, Dexterity Decreased by 6. Applies 4 exhaustion when healed. Requires amputation.    Stage 6: At this point the smell of death is carried by the effected person. Bone has become brittle and exposed to the elements. Necrosis has spread to the vital organs including the heart and brain. While amputation may be viable, it is no longer a guarantee. Zombification of the individual may occor, but death is certain should the effected person not receive miracle-level medical attention. Constitution set to 1. Strength, Charisma, Dexterity Decreased by 8. Applies 5 exhasution if treated.
