Helbramble
Basic Information
Anatomy
The Helbramble referes the the growth of plant-like vines and shrubbery which naturally inhabit the Dismal Plane. While previously thought to be a diverse set of Dis-alighned plant life, Helbramble is a distortion of the natural world in that it exists as several different phenotypical expressions while sharing the same lineage. Sections of helbramble can be severed and will often grow into numerous different apperances and morphologies. These are usually distinct between seperate plants, however they are all helbramble. For instance, a branch from a bush with red thorns and black bark can be replanted and grow into a large succulent with razer-sharp flowers.
Genetics and Reproduction
Helbramble is able to spread and grow quite violently and often needs controlled burns or other magical destruction methods inorder to be completely eradicated. While some suggest helbramble can subsist off of negative emotion and anguish, such ideas have not been tested or proven. However, it has been shown to sap life force directly from nearby creatures. This sapping seems to increase with proximity and while not necessarily predatory, helbramble has been known to be the doom of creatures who become entangled in once of its more vicious or vine-like forms.
Conservation Status
Should be destroyed if spotted within the Mundane or Astral
