First Journal Entry
October 25, 1961
Mother gave me this journal as a way to have a "healthy way to get my emotions out." Get Bent. We are always agitating the gravel because these friggin' germs keep coming outta the wood work. They are achin' for a breakin' but we always have to burn rubber outta town whenever they show up.I know what they did to cousin Jenny. We all saw the body before Father kicked us "ankle biters" out. Her body was all cut up and there were worms already. I still see her sometimes in my dreams. Screaming for help as she sinks into that endless, wiggling mass.
I know if we worked together we could put them 6 feet under. I don't care who or what they are *there are several words scratched out.*
They just don't get it. If we just used our "gift" together, then those friggin' germs wouldn't stand a chance. Mother insists that it's better for the fam to be seperated and on the move but these powers are amped.
There were some Greasers outside the store where me and Babs went for food. One of those pissers actually reached out and copped a feel. When we were done with them, they were begging Babs to let them buy our food and carry it for us. How could we say no to that? Of course Father was pissed and demanded we undo it. They beat feet so fast, they was trippin over themselves.
Needless to say, Babs and I are gonna start practicing for the next time those germs show up.
