The Twisting Forest
The Twisting forest is a strange forest where anyone can get lost. A deep mist or for flows through the forest messing with people sight and the similar looking trees make it hard to discern winch way to go. Not even a compass can aid you as some kind of magnetic field messes with them. Some have even spoke of strange voices and figures within the mist. Some believing their others who foolishly entered and didn't get as lucky in getting out. Some have even spoke of plants attacking comrades are the trees moving to box them in.
What is surprising is that their is a settlement at the edge of this forest made up of brave individuals who frequently travel into the mist. These people have no problem of going into the mist and risking their lives to bring out food and supplies. In some parts of the year the mist even envelops the village and even the village becomes a maze of confusion. Where the voices of the past walk. The people their normally prepare for this event by stockpiling supplies to ward off the dangers of the mist by staing in side.
Geography
A forest with a number of low hills and river that runs through. Most other aspects of the forest is unknown thanks to the mist obscuring anyway to properly map out the layout. Many have spoke of diffrent structures even some mentioning how they ended up on top of a mountain or found themselves suddenly in a cave.

History
The forest was normally regarded as dangerous and many of the old tribes stayed away from it. During the different Descendant Wars their were tales of armies disappearing in the forest with only a few men making it out as they spoke of lands of growing fungus and golden floating structures.
