The Blighted Lands
The blighted lands is a long stretch of corrupted land tainted by a combination of magics most vile. Once the battleground for the Second Descendant War, the constant battles and magic use caused serious damage to the essence of the land. This led to a twisted land filled with magical abominations that are hostile to anyone they find.
Geography
The blighted lands is a twisted land of nature’s corruption. Made up of vast fields and mighty mountains. Interspersed by spires and canyons of torn land twisted by man’s hubris. Craters can be found where massive explosions of magic and gun powder have carved into the land.
Ecosystem
Nature’s balance has shifted by the corruption of man. What was once a land of order where everything had a place has instead become twisted.
Plants that no longer crave sun but blood. That which ate plants gaining sharp teeth to feed on flesh. What once thrived on meat now craving the essence of others to fill a growing void within.
The Spirits becoming twisted abominations corrupted by the desires of man. Carrying on the desires of the fallen in more twisted ways.
Localized Phenomena
With the corruption of the ley lines the tainted essence bunches up into roaming clouds of fog and storms. Not just made of rain and thunder. Filled of the raw power of essence it can become consumed by flames or twisting earth. In one moment it can snow or flash freeze and area.
These elemental storm poses a threat to all as it twist between the different elemental forces to destroy all in its wake.
