Summer Camp 2025 Prep

Week 1: Nourishment

Assignment 1:

Those who learn to work with the land can find ways to meet their needs. Those who don’t with eventually find their coffers empty and will have to seek other means to survive.

Those who work hard in my world learn how to provide for themselves. Though they may have to deal with others taking what they need to survive forcing them to do whatever it takes to survive.

I’m to clean up and update my world in preparation for Summer Camp and new Story Developments.

Week 2: Roots

Assignment 1:

The past and present are bound in chains as that which happens in the past will bind those who come after to continue the actions of those who came before.

I thought hard on the past of my world and how in set up a lot of the conflicts in the present. The past haunts my characters both their on personal history and the history from far into the past.

Assignment 2:

There are many ways to improve my homepage. Mainly focusing it on some of the core changes that I have come up when further developing the story for my world. This way I can explain more clearly what the world represents now.

Assignment 3:

There’s been a lot of changes to my worlds that may have improved my work but also lost something along the way. Losing the true purpose or focus of the story with each grand change that fundamentally changed what I was working on.

Going back I would like to return the world to the core story that could have been, but taking in the knowledge I developed over time.

Week 3: Metamorphosis

Assessment 1:

Change is constant and the people had to adapt to many things. From learning their gods weren’t gods, to harnessing magic. They have learned to roll with the changes.

In the past after surviving a rebellion with gods they hand a good few generations free of conflict tile Volza brought war on their once allies. This would lead to the first son bound cursing their people and their own to extinction. Not learning anything war would come again that dragged out for a hundred years of constant give and take that brought decay to once thriving lands.

Now the people had to deal with the sky shattering and growing numbers of anomalies that have consumed the far west. Whole towns found devoid of life with weird symbols carved into walls. Only made worse when the sky shatters a second time.

Many seek to deal with the growing problems. From the Purifiers who serve their empire to burn all corruption . The Sin Hunters who do all they can to keep forbidden magics from tainting the lush lands the beast clan calls home. To the remnants of the truth seekers who seek a means to right a wrong they brought to the world.

Assignment 2:

I been listening to a lot of music from Wood Kid recently. Funny enough I learned a number of his songs have inspired at different points in time, only really zeroing in on his music after listening to the wilder song he made for death stranding 2.

I’ve also been looking at a lot of art on art station for inspiration. Along playing a number of inspiring games like expedition 33. I tend to find great inspiration in games as they are worlds I can explore and experience.
