First Shrine of the Balance
The First shrine of the Balance is a shrine built in honor of the balance between the primal forces and the elemental forces of the world. It is a representation of the balance that the brother's of freedom beloved in. The shrine is cherished by many followers of the balance even after the divide. that happened after the passing of the brothers. A group of true followers have maintained and protected this shrine from all threats. Even willing to find those of their own races to make sure no harm comes to the shrine.
Purpose / Function
The purpose of the shrine is to honor the brothers of the balance. Here their original teachings were held and many of the first students would come here to learn under them. The shrine was also built in memory of their sister who died in the final battle against the Lazari. Here they kept a totem made to represent her spirit and quest for freedom.
History
The Shrine was first built a couple years after the end of the war with the Lazari. It was chosen to be established on land that was tied to one of their last fond memories together. Here they would teach others of the balance they discovered and what their sister taught them about freedom.
After their passing their truest followers took control of it and chose to protect it as they feared the races were growing distant from the true teaching of the brothers. Their beliefs became true as war came over and over again and they would be forced to fight their brothers all in order to protect the legacy of the brothers. No one has ever taken the shrine from it's protectors. Though anyone seeking peace and enlightenment is free to enter and learn from their teachings.
