NKS Hashmal-class Lance Frigate
The NKS Hashmal-class Lance Frigate, or just a Hashmal for short, are vessels designed by Gabriel to support his efforts to safeguard the skies from Demonic Incursions. While able to support a small complement of Archangels on their own, their main armament is the potent Tachyon Lance Turret, which can be seen easily from afar with its massive profile. To engage hardened targets with a focused beam of light, Gabriel saw wisdom in getting more firepower against such things after his encounter with the Star Vampire, and the realization that his own lack of dedicated siege weapons was a hinderance in that battle.
The Hashmal seek too carry out their duties without fail, lest they lose the light of her majesty's kindness.
Power Generation
Two El Drive Reactors - Due to the power requirements of its main spinal weapon, the Tachyon Lance Turret, the Hashmal requires two El Drives to maintain its flight.
Propulsion
An Anti-Gravity Matrix and one main thruster, along with two turbine engines to allow for more precice aerial movements.
Weapons & Armament
Tachyon Lance Turret - The spinal weapon of the Hashmal and the reason for its namesake, the Tachyon Lance draws enough power to warrant its own El Drive to even fire it. Yet due to this it can also sustain its beam for far longer than that of Gabriel's Tachyon Arrays, giving it unparralled ability to wear down tough targets into ash. Yet in this is also its weakness, as it is vastly inefficient for dealing with swarms of enemies.
x4 Light CIWS - There are four Light CIWS on the hull of the Frigate, enough to ward off enemy combatants but lacking real power of their own.
x8 Plasma Torpedo Pods - Each Lance Frigate carries eight total torpedo pods, semi-guided missile payloads that can burn away armor in concentrated fire.
x6 Barrage Missile Systems - At six total points on the Frigate are Barrage Missile Systems, suited more to tracking targets at a short range than true damage. Often used for ground support in highlighted bombardments.
Armor and defense
Adaptive Armor - This coating of armor upon the hull of the Hashmal adapts in the face of damage, keeping the hull intact and unblemished as long as it retains some integrity. Useful in dealing with attritional damage, but strong impacts can wear it down quickly.
Reflexive Shield Generator - Similar to Gabriel, the Hashmal Frigates carry shield generators to mitigate damage. While not as strong as the Mothership, this does grant them a great surviability in the field.
Defiant Light - While not nearly as durable as Gabriel himself, the Hashmal themselves are not without their own will. When they have sustained sufficient damage they will attempt to recall themselves to the Shipyard, and if that is not possible...they will self-detonate to purge what killed them, and to deny their enemy any further advantage.
Hangars & docked vessels
Each Hashmal can maintain and hold 10 Archangels within them, two wings of such forces. Though they cannot support Wyverns directly, they can resupply them.
