The Solemn Decree of Elderglen

*Indited in the era following the conclusion of the Coalition Wars, within the hallowed halls of Elderglen, in the sovereign land of Exalia.*  

Preamble

In the divine presence and under the scrutiny of our esteemed assembly, convened in the aftermath of war, we inscribe this decree. Sealed by our hands, it establishes peace and sets forth the terms for those subdued in conflict, ensuring our supremacy and lasting peace.  

Article the First: On the Subjugation of Territories

1. All lands known as New Armorica are annexed under the sovereignty of Old Armorica, to be ruled by His Majesty, King Verince.

2. Territories known as Chechy and Pole are united under King Alden III of Ruden, now Szewia, forfeiting all previous rights and governed by new rule.

3. Frontia retains independence but will remain under close watch and tribute, ensuring a commitment to non-aggression.

Article the Second: On the Enforcement of Military Restrictions

1. Vanquished realms must dismantle military fortifications and maintain only a small army as specified by victors.

2. Victorious powers will establish garrisons in principal cities to maintain order and ensure compliance.

Article the Third: On Penal Reparations

1. Conquered realms must make reparations in gold and resources, continuing until satisfaction is declared by the Victors' Council.

2. Responsibilities for reconstruction fall to those who resisted, under supervision.

Article the Fourth: On the Curtailment of Rights

1. Customary laws in annexed lands are revoked. New laws will enforce loyalty and prevent dissent.

2. Cultural assimilation programs will integrate conquered peoples into the victors’ empires, erasing rebellious tendencies.

Article the Fifth: On the Establishment of an Overlord Council

1. An Overlord Council with representatives from the victorious coalition will oversee treaty implementation and dispute resolution.

Article the Sixth: On the Ratification and Enactment of This Decree

1. This decree is effective immediately upon ratification, binding all parties under strict adherence, under penalty of law.
