Session 39 – Feebs’ Revenge and The Demise of Ragtag

The battle continues, as Ragtag emerges from the big tent and engages with Sylbella. Feebs, upon seeing shouts across the encampment his intent to end Ragtag is as painful a way as possible.

Ragtag is a formidable fighter though, and he proves it by wounding Sylbella rather severely before the rest of the team can get into position to assist.

Meanwhile, Feebs finishes the last of the other orcs before making his way toward where Ragtag is with as much haste as possible. Gunkyn succeeds in pushing Ragtag back with Dissonant Whispers to give Sylabella a chance to regroup from his attacks, while Bucky keeps the Orc Conduit occupied.

As Feebs dodges and ducks under Ragtag’s attempt to cleave him with his great axe, Feebs strikes strategically and often with his rapier as well as Shadow Blade making the orc war chief bleed.

The guards from Arbuzum that accompanied you eventually catch up and help with taking down the Orc Conduit leaving Ragtag completely alone and surrounded and being cut and battered from all sides.

But, almost as though the gods had willed it so, the final cut comes from Feebs’ rapier as he drives it deep and upwards finishing the big orc, a look of shock that this little goblin has gotten the best of him – as for Feebs, justice for his slaughtered village is finally served! ¹

With the entire orc warband now dead, you are able to take a look around their encampment. Naturally there is a treasure check, which seems like it has seen better days as its lock is already broke. A fair amount of coin, mostly copper and silver is within along with some gems and several magical items.

In addition to the treasure check, the heads of Ragtag and the Orc Conduit are mounted on spears and carried triumphantly back to Arbuzum where you all greated with a hero’s welcome!

Other good news is bestowed as Muuta announces that the other caravan he was waiting on arrived while you were gone and so the journey northward can continue first thing in the morning.

You will also be taking on a new passenger, a monk of the Kobalt Soul named Angmar Wheatflow, a human female with teal hair, cyan eyes, and a diamond-shaped face of mediocre features. She seems personable as she introduces herself but an interesting quirk is quickly discovered when Feebs introduces himself – seems that Angmar is quite allergic to goblins!
