Session 37 – Arrival at Arbuzum

Muuta, Gunkyn, and Feebs set about the task of butchering the sandwyrm for its meat and any other treasures it may produce.

You manage to harvest 100 pounds of meat from the beast, as well as five vials of blood, ten teeth, its horn, one scale, and six bones.

Two pounds of the meat are used for a nice lunch of shish kabobs – a welcome change from the normal porridge. The rest is set aside with the hopes of selling it once you reach Arbuzum. Thankfully you are close enough to not worry about the meat spoiling before you reach the caravanserai.

Arbuzum is a mere four hours away and you are looking forward to getting an extended rest, but halfway there you run across one last group of sand pirates trying to rob an unsuspecting caravan.

Unfortunately for them, they prove to be no match for the team, and they are quickly dispatched.

Two hours later, as the sun is just beginning to set you arrive in the caravanserai of Arbuzum where you meet Muuta’s brother and business partner Hassan.

You also bid farewell to Lady Ba'maiya bint Fali al-Mee, the female halfling aristocrat, and her dragonborn servant/bodyguard Faani ibn Ma'ghyaa al-Dalai as they will be joining a different caravan heading east toward her homeland of Egland.

You manage to sell most of the sandwyrm meat for a good price while having five pounds of it made into jerky to have something other than basic rations on the road.

Now you are just awaiting word from Muuta as to when the journey will continue north toward the Library of the Cobalt Soul.
