Society for the containment of and protection from the 'Stone Plague'
The Society' has funded several 'medical expeditions', transporting those unfortunates afflicted with Stone Plague to far off islands to live out the rest of their days among their own kind posing no further risk to the inhabitants of Capital.
Other efforts of the charity include the production of preventative salves and creams, the creation of 'houses of stone' which are typically made on disused lots, and consist of a long one story building with many small rooms for the inflicted and a canteen at the one end with standing tables.
Headed by the vitriolic Count Alduzzi, the charity holds galas and balls, silent auctions being a favourite means of unobtrusively raising funds at these events.
