The Divine Tears
When the world enters the wet season, Donnin, god of earth and water, master of reality for a brief moment will lose control. The result is the only magically active artifact that originates from Donnin instead of Erami.
The First Tears of the Year
As is known from The Song of Love, the two deities Erami and Donnin are the creators of the world, who are cursed to spend time apart every winter. When Erami must depart from the world, the gods weep, causing the wet season, a period of almost unending rainfall, which precedes the great winter.
Donnins Sorrow
In the waning days of the dry season, also known as summer, Donnin becomes more and more despondent and moody, a process which accumulates magical potential without an outlet. Donnin usually takes great care to disperse the effect of his being, so not to affect the world by his presence, but in this rare occasion, he simply cannot help himself.
When the rain finally comes, the first instance of rain of the year discharged this magic, transforming the otherwise ordinary water into a potent potion.
Effects
This first rain of the season is a great boon for whichever is the first living being to interact with it.
The water is said to cure all known ailments and diseases, restoring to perfect health its consumer.
As only the first rain has this effect reliably gathering divine tears is a challenge. In most years, the local flora and fauna of wherever the rain happens to fall first gets a noticeable boon to growth and health.
However, due the powerful effect, every settlement will try to collect the first rain it receives and hope to gain a powerful artifact in the process.
