Origins
The Thri-Keen were an attempt by Jakular to create sentient life from insects. Many of his Wild Elders have appealed to him as to why he felt the need, but the only response they recieve is a feeling of loss intermingled with guilt. The world may never know precisely why the Thri-Keen were created, but they are here to stay under his protection. This has caused some trouble with the Elves and Tritons, who have no mercy for the Thri-Keen, and are willing to kill them on sight for reasons unknown.
Regions
The Thri-Keen's numbers are small, though they are located mostly in the Lindral Forest.

Their primary communication is through telepathy, and Thri-Keen culture dictates that it is rude to communicate telepathically with a creature that has not explicitly invited such. This makes it hard for many of them to communicate with others, even when their lives are at risk. |
