Saytr

Origins

Satyrs were first born of a union of the angels of Cheznerix, the fae, and more booze than is conscionable, even for non-mortals. Cheznerix has always had a strong connection with the Fae, as their magics are often shared by the Elves. One night, while celebrating one victory or another (the amount of alcohol ingested by all parties dulled their memories of that night, and those of a considerable part of that time in their lives), the angels and the Fae embraced, and from the actions of that night, Saytrs were born. There are some who even contend that Cheznerix deigned to adopt a material form for that night, and that some of the satyrs were sired by Him.

Regions

The Saytrs mostly keep to the Calcemax, though sometimes they venture out into the world. Notably, they are welcome in Riflian, an honor bestowed on few.

Stereotypes

StereotypesWhy this Stereotype Exists
Saytrs worship Cheznerix. While they were created by His angols (ond possibly by Him), the Fae generally have no allegiance to the gods of Chenravo. This is similarly true for the Saytrs.
Saytrs are troublemakers. Saytrs love a good prank, and are well known for their abilities to make a joke out of nearly anything. Occasionally (or not so occasionally depending on your patience), their jokes might go to far and enter the realm of problematic.
Saytrs are Aasimar. Despite their partially divine blood, Saytrs consider themselves more fae than godly. Part of this is due to the fact that since their creation, they have interbred more with the fae than they have with the divine.
